  1. Of course excel is Best for its effectiveness, but the price is too high. So the 3 star.I have used surf excel, Ariel magic, rin matic, henko matic, all work good n great,f finally I did on Amway, was indeed best among allI did an survey of each detergent here are the pro’s & cons of each I usedMy washing machine is Samsung top loadSurf exelPros:# removes all kinds of stains# for full load 1 & half spoon works well, spoon provided in the surf packet itselfCons# for tougher stains, pre treatment is essential# pre soaking is necessary to remove more soiled cloths# price is too high# u need 2 kilo for a family of fourSame with HENKO matic too..Read more ›

  2. This is on my must buy list every second month! The detergent is great with my Samsung WM. Deep cleans on all the clothes and very less smell of the detergent. Collars on shirts are thoroughly cleaned so are the cuffs and this eliminates additional cleaning of the same. Do look out for deals on the 1st and 2nd of every month to buy this at a lower price so that you get great wash using a good detergent at a great price.

  3. I dont understand a few things. Why would LG not recommend this product? They sell more washing machines than say Kelvinator. The logo of Kelvinator with the penguin on the Surf box is for the refrigerator (The coolest one)!!!! So I guess even Kelvinator is not serious about washing machines or washing machine powdersI want responsible manufacturers to list out the composition of their detergents. Why can’t I know what is in the detergent powder? So many of the ingredients are damaging to the environment. Shouldn’t we are customers make choices as to what to buy based on whether the ingredients will damage the environment that we will hand over to our children’s generation? Don’t we want to give them a clean, if not cleaner world? Will companies like HUL only provide the list of ingredients and additives only if they are required to do so by LAW? Don’t they have any social responsibility to do this when they sell this to our lovely country? All this talk of NEW IMPROVED is pure bull. We have seen enough of this new improved but no one will tell us what is new or what is improved because we don’t know what goes into it. Advertising standards are being violated but are the authorities being paid to look the other way?
